Introduction About ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET

ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET contains Zolpidem, which belongs to the group of
medicines known as Hypnotics. It is used in the short-term management of
insomnia (sleeping disorder) in adults (above 18 years of age). The person with
insomnia problems may have difficulty in sleeping, staying awake, or staying
asleep, waking up too early etc.

ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients who have or had
myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), severe liver diseases, severe breathing
problems, sleep apnoea (serious breathing problem while sleeping), psychosis
(mental illness), somnambulism (sleepwalking) or abnormal behaviours after
taking hypnotic medication in past.

ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients suffering from
any heart problems which include irregular heartbeat, depression, or any other
mental illness, in patients suffering from kidney disease, and in patients who
have a history of alcohol and drug abuse.

ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET is not recommended for use by pregnant and
breastfeeding women. ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in
children below 18 years of age. ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET should be used with
caution in elderly patients above age 65 years. The common side effects of
taking ZOLFRESH CR 6.25MG TABLET are impaired memory, hallucinations, sleeping
problems that might get worse, headache, nightmares, nausea, vomiting, feeling
drowsy during the day, etc. Consult your doctor immediately if any of your side
effects get worse or if you experience abnormal behaviour or develop suicidal
thoughts.

How To Manage Side Effects

Itchy skin:

Avoid taking hot showers as they can irritate the skin. Do not scratch the
affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when going outdoors or use
unscented moisturizers to soothe and hydrate the skin. Contact your doctor if
the itching persists.

Headache:

Take rest and relax. Apply a pain-relieving balm on the head if needed. Contact
