FULSED INJECTION contains Midazolam, which belongs to the group of medicines
called central nervous system (CNS) depressants. It is used as a general
anaesthetic (medications that put you in a sleep-like state before surgery) in
adults.
It is also used in children and adults as preoperative sedation or conscious
sedation (depressed level of consciousness during which a patient retains
control over his protective reflexes and can respond) before the short
diagnostic or endoscopic procedure and for induction of general anaesthesia
before administration of another anaesthetic agent.
Avoid consuming alcohol while receiving FULSED INJECTION. Do not receive FULSED
INJECTION if you have breathing difficulties. Before receiving FULSED INJECTION,
inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, heart diseases, liver problems,
a history of drug abuse, sleep apnoea syndrome and myasthenia gravis.

breastfeeding women unless considered clearly necessary. It should be used with
caution in elderly patients. FULSED INJECTION cause common side effects such as
hiccups, cough, nausea and vomiting. If any of these symptoms worsen, contact
your doctor for advice.
FULSED INJECTION works by acting on certain receptors in the brain called GABA
receptors, which cause the release of a neurotransmitter called GABA that
transmits messages between the nerve cells. Hence, FULSED INJECTION helps
stabilize the altered electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain to induce
complete loss of consciousness and for sedation before the surgical or
diagnostic procedure.
FULSED INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into a vein as
an intravenous infusion. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration
for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
