Introduction About REZART M 40MG CAPSULE

REZART M 40MG CAPSULE contains Artemether which belongs to the group of
medicines called Antimalarial agents. It is used to manage malaria. It is not
used to manage malaria or to manage severe malaria (where it has affected the
brain, lungs, or kidneys).

Malaria is a serious and sometimes fatal disease caused by a parasite that
commonly infects a certain type of mosquito which feeds on humans.

People who get malaria are typically very sick with high fever, shaking chills,
headache, muscle pain and flu-like illness. There are four kinds of malaria
parasites infect humans such as Plasmodium falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and
P. malariae.

Your doctor will monitor with blood tests once a week for 4 weeks to detect the
presence of malarial parasites.

Before taking REZART M 40MG CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have liver, or
kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women before taking this
medicine. The most common side effects are headache, abdominal pain, decreased

REZART M 40MG CAPSULE is an antiparasitic medication which works by producing
harmful chemicals (free radicals) within the malarial parasite, thereby works
against them.

How to use REZART M 40MG CAPSULE

Take this medicine as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a
whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you
depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
