Introduction About FLUTE 0.05% CREAM

FLUTE 0.05% CREAM contains Fluticasone Furoate which belongs to the group of
medicines called Corticosteroids (glucocorticoids). It is used to manage
inflamed skin, redness and itching in several skin problems not caused by germs
and responsive to corticosteroids such as eczema, dermatitis, or insect bites.

FLUTE 0.05% CREAM is not recommended for use in patients having other skin
problems such as acne, severe flushing of skin on and around your nose
(rosacea), spotty red rash around your mouth (perioral dermatitis), itching
around your back passage or private parts, infected skin, which is not being
managed, and itchy skin which is not inflamed.

Before using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM inform your doctor if you have broken or damaged
skin, chronic leg ulcer, psoriasis, or you need to use FLUTE 0.05% CREAM on
face. FLUTE 0.05% CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and
breastfeeding women.

FLUTE 0.05% CREAM is not recommended for use in infants below 3 months of age
and should be used with caution in children below 12 years of age. Ask for the
advice of your child’s doctor before using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM for your child.

Avoid smoking or going near a naked flame while using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM as this
poses a risk of severe burns. The most common side effects of using FLUTE 0.05%

How to use FLUTE 0.05% CREAM

Always use FLUTE 0.05% CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external
use only. Dry the infected part of the skin before using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM. Wash
your hands before and after using this medicine. Do not let FLUTE 0.05% CREAM go
into your eye and do not apply on mucous membranes. Your doctor will decide the
correct dose, duration, and frequency of the medicine for you depending on your
existing conditions, weight and age.

Hot water makes your skin irritated, so avoid taking hot showers. Do not scratch
the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. To

• to apply to a large surface area.

• chronic leg ulcer as the risk of local reaction or infection may increase
• to apply near eyes or on eyelids
• to apply to thin skin such as the face

Use in Paediatrics:

FLUTE 0.05% CREAM is not recommended for use in infants below 3 months of age

Use in Geriatrics:

FLUTE 0.05% CREAM can be used in elderly patients. Consult with your doctor

Interactions

A. Drug-Drug Interactions:

Before using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM, tell your doctor if you are taking, or have
recently taken any of the following medicines:

• medicines used to manage HIV (Ex. ritonavir, cobicistat)

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else apply too much or have accidental ingestion and systemic
exposure of FLUTE 0.05% CREAM, consult your doctor immediately or visit the
nearby hospital as it can make you ill.

to. FLUTE 0.05% CREAM should not be used for too long as the skin on your face
thins easily. Do not let the ointment get into your eyes as cataracts or
glaucoma may be caused if the ointment repeatedly enters the eye. Contact your
doctor before using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM.

Can I stop using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM on my own if I start to feel better?

Do not stop using FLUTE 0.05% CREAM until and unless your doctor asks you to. It
