Introduction About ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION

ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION contains Ethamsylate, which belongs to the group of
medicines called Antihemorrhagic drugs. It is used to manage bleeding from the
blood vessels and to manage bleeding before or after an operation.

Ethamsylate exerts hemostatic action by improving platelet adhesiveness and
restoring capillary (blood vessels) resistance. It decreases bleeding time and
increases platelet clumping which reduces capillary bleeding and improves
capillary wall stability. Before the management, your doctor might want to do
certain blood tests to understand your existing condition.

ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION is not recommended for use if you have porphyria (defect
in the synthesis of haemoglobin) or bronchial asthma. Before receiving ETHAWK
125MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you have hypotension or unstable blood
pressure. ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant women.
It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor if you
experience any unusual effects while receiving ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION.

ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION exerts hemostatic action by improving platelet

and improves capillary wall stability. It inhibits PGI-2 synthesis and corrects
abnormal platelet function.

How to use ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION

ETHAWK 125MG INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the
muscles (intramuscularly) or the veins (intravenously). Your doctor will decide
the right dose and duration depending on your age, body weight and disease
condition.
