ALKEL LIQUID contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate which belongs to the group of
medicines called Urinary Alkalizers. It is used to manage the symptoms of
urinary tract infections (such as low urine output, painful urination or burning
sensation while passing urine) when used in combination with antibiotics.

It works by increasing your blood pH and by making your urine less acidic.
Therefore, it helps in managing metabolic acidosis (low pH in blood) and
hyperuricemia (high blood uric acid levels) and manage the incidence of gout
