A: ALBAZEN 400MG TABLET is used in the management of parasitic worm infections
like enterobiasis, ancylostomiasis, hymenolepsiasis, strongyloidiasis,
ascariasis, trichuriasis and giardiasis in the body. It is also useful in the
management of worm infections of the brain (such as parenchymal
neurocysticercosis) and liver, lung or lining of stomach walls (such as Chinese
liver fluke disease, cystic hydatid disease) which are caused by larval form of
tape worms.
A: ALBAZEN 400MG TABLET is an antiparasitic medication. It binds to the parasite
cell and disrupts their cell structure. It also collapses their metabolism and
restricts them from absorbing sugar (glucose) which is essential for their
growth and multiplication. This depletes the energy level of the parasite and
controls the severity of the infection.
